August 2015

August was simply magical…lots of playing, laughing and sunshine filled our days

 LOTS of pool time! Ollie closed the pool down most days :)

 The kids celebrated their 8th, 6th and 3rd birthdays together with a Barbie princess/Super Mario Bros themed birthday bash!

 We helped organized a Glow party for the summer staff- one of the best nights of the summer for sure! The kids helped set up and even worked the snack shop…is there anything more fun for an 8 year old?!

 Ginny got married!  Wes and I got to go up north and celebrate!

 Chapel was a highlight this summer

 We had an end of summer celebration with our friends!

 and completed the bucket list of camping…I convinced everyone that sleeping on the porch would be a great first camping experience…it was excellent judgment on my part ;)

This summer was a gift.  Joy, fun, friendships, health.  We were blessed and appreciated it all.  Thank you God for this season to recharge, reflect and enjoy your good gifts.

Cold Cold Cold days=Lots of creative forts at home

A trip to the hospital for Natalie for tummy pain.  Thankful that she is ok.  I am certain that the  Lord healed her right there in that hospital bed.  No surgery for this gal.
