Apple Picking

This weekend we ventured to an apple orchard that is about an hour away. We had heard wonderful things about it and wanted to find out what all the fuss was about! The drive was well worth it! This orchard had everything under the sun and the best part was the miles and miles of apple trees :)
We started out with face paint...Then we took a wagon ride way out into the orchards. There were different stops for every kind of apple. We got to wander around as long as we wished and then caught a tractor ride back to the main area when we were ready! Our favorite were the Jonagold apples...MMM!

Natalie and Daddy had a ball :)

Mommy and the kids...it was a brisk 43 degrees so we all had to bundle up
We were pretty chilly (and hungry) after our apple picking adventure, so we ditched the corn maze, pony ride and play area for some yummy donuts!
Natalie never refuses a pastry ;)Can you get an idea of how ENORMOUS the apples were? This is one we picked next to a store bought apple!
