8 Weeks Old

Stratton is 8 weeks old and doing wonderfully! He is smiling at us which is so fun and is starting to make some noises other than grunting and crying (although that is still about 99% of what we hear from him!). Stratton is a really baby. He likes to eat and be held (of coarse!), goes to bed pretty consistently around 9pm, wakes up to eat about twice a night and usually wakes up for the day at 6 or 7am. How great is that?! He goes with the flow of our busy days and noisy household. He is growing like a weed and we are already breaking out the 3-6month clothes for him. I can't believe it! Stratton got his immunizations yesterday and was kind of fussy afterward- sore thighs I am sure, but he didn't get much of a fever. That was an answer to prayer He had a good checkup :) Other than Bible study and trips to the store and GiGi's house, we have kept much to ourselves for the last few weeks in an effort to avoid catching the flu that seems to be everywhere! Everyone (except Stratton, of coarse) will have their flu vaccinations by the week's end so we can get more into our regular routine soon. We are so thankful to have stayed healthy to this point!
