6 Months!

This post is a little late because we have been very busy lately...but Stratton is 6 months old!
At the doctor last week Stratton was:
Height: 27 inches (70%)
Weight: 17lbs 15 ounces (60%)

Here's what you have been up to lately, baby Stratton:
-You had your first big cold this month. You got an ear infection and RSV. You did great though and are all better now!
-You got a special accessory this month...a helmet. This is to help round out your precious little head...you like to sleep on your back and look to the right which made a flat spot on your skull. You wear your helmet 23 hours a day and will probably wear it for about 2 more months. You adjusted great to it. You are such a snuggler that we think you might actually like having something touch your head all the time. Even though you are fine with the helmet, you love it when we wash and rub your head during bathtime when you get a break from your "hat" as Natalie calls it!
-You have started eating food. We started with rice cereal and have more recently started eating the fun stuff. So far you have tried carrots, green peas, sweet potatoes, applesauce, and peaches. You don't like peaches and love applesauce :) In this picture you are eating your cereal but trying to sneak a peek of Natalie's TV show...I have to keep you away from the TV because you love it! -You like to sit in the highchair to eat and sometimes you just hang out in it with toys when Natalie and mommy are doing things in the kitchen...I think you feel more a part of things when you are up at our level!

-You got your first first tooth! It was quite a few days for you because you got your helmet, an ear infection and a tooth all in ONE day! I was so surprised when I saw that pearly white poking thru...it is your bottom left central tooth....and is so cute!-You are sitting up all by yourself. This make you (and me!) so happy! You are able to sit and play with toys all by yourself which makes you so joyful. You reach for everything and are a very curious boy!

-You wear a size 4 diaper and are in 12 month clothes

-I am so overjoyed to see you happy and playful. You are a snuggly baby who loves to hug and kiss but you are becoming more independent everyday. You like to play with toys and jump in the bouncer. You play well in the nursery, like to laugh a lot and you love watching your sister run and play. You two adore each other and make each other giggle all the time!
