15 Months

This post is a bit late but for the sake of documentation--Stratton is 15 months old! We haven't had Stratton's 15 month check up yet (because his mother has partially lost her mind during the holiday rush and totally forgot about it--sorry buddy!) But, Stratton is doing great and seems to be cruising right along with growth and milestones.

Stratton, here is what you have been doing this month:

-TALKING! You are saying so many new words and really do try to say anything we ask you to (although it doesn't always come out very clearly). You babble and babble on and on and on as if you are having a conversation with us (I guess you are!). We nod and say "yes, really?, oh!" and you just keep on telling us whatever it is you are saying :)

-Climbing. You are all over the place and are climbing up on all the furniture.

-Eating. You have always been good at this. You continue to love fruit and eat 3 bananas a DAY!

-Singing. You have always loved music are starting to sing a little bit. You clap along to the tunes on the radio and love to sing "Patty cake" (the rolling part is your favorite).

-Nursery. It took a little time but you are finally adjusting to nursery better! You are enjoying yourself instead of crying when mommy leaves.

-Hair! You have your daddy's baby hair...it is almost white and curly in the back!

-You still wake up at night- usually just once if at all. Last night I got up with you at 1:10 AM. You would have loved it if I gave you milk but we are really trying to stop that bad habit...so instead I rocked you. You said "all done" and wanted to go play upstairs but I told you that it was still night time and you had to go back to sleep. You put your tiny little chin on my shoulder and just let me hold you...it was so sweet. Well, it was sweet until you started crying again at 1:26AM...then I was a little frustrated ;)

-You typically go to bed at 7:30pm and wake up at 6am, although you have been sleeping in more since it has been so dark outside lately. You take one 2 hour nap a day.

-You LOVE your sister! You two are such a team, playing together and making up new games...it is great!

-You are right on track, wearing 18-24 month clothes

-You are very sweet and easy going. You are a joy to take shopping because you just sit and take it all in. When we go to other people's houses, you just walk around and explore...you make my life easy :)
