Sledding Day!
Today we had a family sledding trip to Lake Michigan...after visiting with Great Grandma and Grandpa, the four of us geared up and headed down the hill to Lake Michigan! The snowdrifts were huge and the wind was blowing but as always- it was a beautiful site to see. Natalie trudged through the snowbanks (it was up to her waist!) and Stratton rode along in his tiny sled. We followed the beach hike up with some sledding at a local sand dune called the "Sugarbowl" which was packed with kids. As we were getting Natalie's mittens on and looking at the hills we were about to sled Natalie said (enthusiastically), "This is CRAZY mommy!!" Natalie went down the big hill with daddy and then did the smaller hill all by herself over and over. She had a ball. The kids will sleep well tonight :)
