Oliver and I had some precious time to get to know one another during our hospital stay.
We had lots of company that was eager to get to know him too ;)

Natalie is in love with her new brother and her new role. She takes being a big sister very seriously and has loved holding, comforting and helping with Oliver since the moment she met him!
Oliver likes Natalie too! He is usually very content in her arms and almost always opens his eyes to look at her when she talks to or holds him.
Stratton likes his baby brother too! He is very sweet to Oliver and is eager to do nice things like "share" his racing cars (ie: hold racing cars 1 inch from Oliver's face).

And the party didn't stop there...since I couldn't go "out" to dinner to celebrate my birthday, the party came to me! The DeKornes and Ferwerdas know how to get the party started- even on the mother baby floor ;) It was a treat to have the company (and the dinner!)
