Time for School

Natalie had her first day of school this week!

She was eager to start the year and use her new big girl backpack

Seeing old friends, meeting new ones and getting ready to start the day on the colorful giant carpet

Natalie's first project of the year...an honest answer!

After a moment of hesitation, Natalie found her groove and had a fantastic day.  Before the boys and I left the building we had already spotted Natalie jumping up and down with excitement showing her teacher the lip gloss she brought to share as her show and tell. 

After school Natalie was eager to tell us all about lunch, recess, her new friends, her new teacher, and assignments.  We loved hearing every detail!

The kids enjoyed a frosty to celebrate Natalie's first day~Hooray!

It makes me a bit weepy to reflect on how quickly time goes by but I am thankful for my eager, growing, energetic bundles.  So I just keep taking pictures and praying...I guess that's what moms do!
