3 months

Oliver is 3 months old!

He is such a delightful baby! Here is a little of what you have been doing lately, Oliver...

-You continue to be a total joy.  You don't give us much trouble unless you are tired, hungry or need to burp and even then calm down quickly once you get what you need...can't ask for any better than that :)
-You love watching the busy world around you (namely your brother and sister!)
-You are spending more and more time on the playmat and grab the toys that hang around you
-You wiggle your arms and legs a lot when you get excited or have energy during your "playtime"...no rolling yet, but I'm sure that is in the near future

-You like to play in your exersaucer for 5-10 minutes at time. We prop you up with a blanket and you like to bounce your legs and grab at all the fun toys.  Natalie and Stratton LOVE watching and helping you and think it is so neat that you are using THEIR old baby toy :) 

-You spent your first Thanksgiving weekend with both of your grandmas (I didn't get any pictures of you at MiMi's house but I promise you had fun!)

-You aren't on a super specific sleep schedule but generally fall asleep around 9pm, wake up a few times in the night to eat and then are up for the day around 7am.  You will sleep in your crib but love it most in mom and dads bed...Honestly- you fall instantly asleep when you're laying on our sheets!

-Daddy is the best at putting you to sleep and rocks you most nights...awww

-You have an amazing daddy who plays with you and always knows just what you need as is always the one to help you try new things like sitting forward in the baby Bijorn and playing in the exersaucer ;)

-Natalie is the best big sister ever and you love her!  She takes care of you when we ride in the car...She always knows where your pacifier is and when to help you with it.  More than once I have said, "Natalie, can you please give Oliver his pacifier?" only to hear, "Mom I already gave it to him!"  Natalie even feeds you bottles in the car and reports how many ounces you drink:)

-You give lots of smiles and have started to giggle too.
-You are eager to "talk" (coo) with anyone who takes the time to "chat" with you!  It is really precious to see you engage with your eyes, voice and even your body (you wiggle when you get excited). 
-I love watching your eyes twinkle when we focus on each other

-MiMi gave you an early Christmas present...You are starting to use the Bumbo!

-You wear size 1-2 diapers and size 6 month clothes (You wear almost all of big brother Strat's old clothes since he was born in the same season...Strat always gets a giggle out of knowing that you are wearing his baby things!)

-You still have dark hair and beautiful blue eyes

-People say you look like your handsome PaPa

-You are filling out but still have long arms, legs and fingers

-You love baths...they are usually super speedy but you are always pleasant and enjoy them even though your brother and sister are usually inching their way to help pour water on you!

-We are all so thankful for you and are amazed and blessed by God's gift of a healthy delivery and baby boy!  At Thanksgiving PaPa asked everyone to share something they were thankful for. We went around in a circle and when it was Natalie's turn she said, "Ollie"...We agree!
