6 Months!

 Oliver, you are 6 months old!  It is amazing to see how much you have grown in 6 short months.  You are an easy going baby with plenty of sweet personality and energy.

At your check up this week your measurements were:

Height: 27 1/4 in (75 %)

Weight: 18 lb 7 oz (70%)

Head Circ: 43.6 cm (60%)

Here is a little of what you have been doing this last month...

-Eating lots of food!  You still love to eat (at least 2 times a day).  You like apples and pears the best.

-JUMPING...You cannot get enough of your jumping swing and exersaucer that bounces. 

-Getting up on all fours...we suspect you might crawl soon...hmmmm

-Still just two bottom teeth...lots of drool, a sign of more teeth to come!
-Playing with toys...you are doing a great job of hanging out on your tummy, propping yourself up with your arms and playing around with baby toys.

-Sitting up...with a little cushion around your body you are able to sit up and play for quite a bit!

-Giggles and smiles...you like peek a boo and are always ready to flash a smile...which is a wide open grin that lights up your whole face :)

 -You love watching Natalie and Stratton and they like to play games with your like "surprise Oliver"...they crawl around your exersaucer and try to "surprise" you...I always have to remind you to be gentle in the way they play with you since it looks like you are in total shock every time they jump up to you enthusiastically and scream "SURPRISE!"...You are a good sport.

-You are napping 2 times a day.

-You go to bed around 8pm then eat again around 11pm.  You are still getting up once or twice a night...we are working on that....

 -You wear size 3 diapers and size 9-12 month clothes

(a typically morning in our house!)

-You like your pacifier and have gotten pretty good at taking it out/putting it back in your mouth

-You recognize your family and light up when they visit you

-You took your first airplane ride to meet your cousin Quinn in Florida this past month!  You were perfect on the way down and only a bit fussy on the way home...I was glad to have a sweet travel buddy with me

We love you Oliver and are having a ball watching you learn and grow!
