Dreamy

 It was a dreamy week of relaxing in the sunshine....Wes and I headed off for a vacation last week to the Turks & Caicos Islands.  

Our 10 year anniversary this summer was a great excuse to plan an extra special trip conveniently scheduled in the middle of a looooong winter.

Our destination: the beach!

We started the morning off with a good breakfast while we waited for our plane in Atlanta..

We literally changed in the lobby area while our room was being prepared and headed straight to the beach!

On our honeymoon 10 years ago we found a special restaurant...

and it was still our favorite!

We spent hours in the ocean diving for "treasure" 

During our daily off shore "expeditions" we swam with sea turtles, an eagle ray, sting ray, lobster, starfish, barracuda, and lots of beautiful fish...it was amazing!

We took bikes into town to visit the supermarket where we stocked up on PB&J...Lunch of champions

In the evening we would find nice little places to eat.  This restaurant had a beautiful setting and we wanted to visit again...

The kids did great with their grandparents while we were gone and the tooth fairy visited Natalie for the first time!  We were so thankful they were in such great hands!  My mom rocked a mini van, Oliver had an ear infection and there were 3 snow days...hats off.

Last day in TCI...we had to check out at 11am so we decided to go to the beach at 7am ;)

What a treat!

 We had an awesome time slowing down, reading, reflecting and remembering so many fun memories over the past 10 years.  Our honeymoon was great but I must say that this trip was even better!
