We have been so enjoying the Christmas season this year. Getting out and about in the wintry weather to see the local bridge lighting or tiny Christmas Parade is such a big deal for our little kiddos...and for us too...Our hearts are warmed by seeing them take in the sights and sounds of Christmastime in snowy Michigan.We are always thankful but something about this time of year brings forth an extra element of reflection...actually, since having kids I have become a mushy bunch of emotion-period. Wes said to me tonight, "Can you believe these are our kids? Could you have ever imagined who they would be before we had them?" It is so true...their tiny lives, big personalities, recognizable voices, unique temperaments, sensitivities, cries and laughters were no doubt designed for a special reason (Eph 2:10). God made each of them on purpose- unique, special and loved more than anything by Him....love that.
