17 Months

Stratton you are 17 months! You are becoming such a big boy. Here are a few things the you have been doing lately:

*Lots of talking...well, kind of. You are a little soft spoken at first blush. You don't say "yes"...instead you say "uh huuuuh". You might not be quick to jump into a conversation but if you are asked a question you will start to talk (babble) and go on and on and on and on! It is very cute. We wonder if you will be a reserved guy with a lot to say when asked....it seems that way so far.

*You continue to be a good eater. Your favorites still include bananas and fruit but you really like banana bread (especially GiGi's) and chicken nuggets.

*You play with your sister all the time. You two are beginning to quarrel more...sharing is sometimes a struggle for both of you..but we are working on it.

*You go to bed at 7 or 7:30pm and wake up by 6am consistently.

*You got a bad cold this month...it was hard sleeping for the whole house...when you are feeling sick the only thing that gets you through the night is having mommy camp out on your bedroom floor with you. It does the trick every time. In the morning (6am on the dot) you stand up, lean down into mommy's face and say "All done!"....meaning time to wake up!

*You have mastered the stairs and instead of sliding down on your tummy you prefer to walk down (like a big kid) holding someones hand.

*You can say all of your family members names (Mama, Dada, NaNa, etc). When you say your name you always whisper, "Staat" and smile....its so cute!

*You like to brush your teeth

*At night you like to fall asleep on your soft blue blanket and drink a bottle of water

*You take one nap (usually early afternoon)

*You have molars!

*You can get whiny (who doesn't sometimes, haha)

*You got a short haircut

*You love music and can sing "Twinkle Twinkle," "The Itsy Bitsy Spider," "Patty Cake," "This Little Piggy" and a few other songs all by yourself!

*Barney is your favorite TV show....you ask for him in the morning :)

*You love animals and like to make all of their noises

*You love to hug

Aggh, we love seeing you grow and learn everyday Stratton. You are a beautiful little boy!
