20 Months!

I'm posting this a week late, but Stratton is 20 months! 

Stratton, here are a few things you have been doing this month:

-Talking.  You are determined to voice your opinion and are putting together some discernible short sentences.  You say much more than we can understand...talking on and on and on about things and repeating yourself again and again!  We can't always understand just what you are saying but you usually help us out by pointing things out or clarifying with "yes" or "no."
-Speaking of "yes" and "no,"  you say "yeah" or "uh huh" in place of "yes" but have a big, loud definitive "NO" down pat.  Sometimes the "NO!" is accompanied by a foot stamp or furrowed eyebrows.  You have some strong opinions ;)
-You love to sing...mostly to yourself
-You "read" books out loud to yourself and your animals in your crib
-You love trains
-You like to play in the dirt.  If we are in a giant yard with one tiny patch of dirt, you will find it and kick around the dust.
-You are loving the warmer weather and have been spending more time outside.  You have been following ants around and talking to them :)
-You still go to bed at 7:30pm and wake up around 6am most days.
-You still take one nap around 11am or Noon.  The timing is consistent but the length of the nap varies from 30 minutes to a couple of hours.
-You like trucks and point them out when we drive
-You like to swing on the playground
-You are willing to try new things but seem to "assess the situation" before jumping right in.
-You wrestle with your sister.
-You purposely annoy your sister ;)
-You give me a hug and kiss almost anytime I ask for one!
-You are growing!!! Wearing 24 month-2T size clothing
-You like to have your back rubbed
-You like to monkey with mommy's computer even when she says "No!"
-You practice your 123's and ABC's and are getting the hang of it!
-You are getting 3 new teeth right now.
-You like to take showers

You continue to be such a special part of our family, Stratton.  We love you!
