Whoa- that was a great weekend!

We had an awesome weekend.  It all started with Johanna's birthday party at the zoo...

complete with chips...

 and juice boxes...

 ...the petting zoo...

 and fun friends!!

 Then we were thrilled to have Uncle Matt and Aunt RiRi roll into town.

 While we were busy dancing the afternoon away, daddy was at home preparing a very special treat.....

BIKES!!!

Wes had the bikes set out in our front yard.  He videotaped the kids discovering their surprises as we drove up our street.  You can hear Natalie SCREAMING with excitement on the tape all the way from road as we approached.  What a joy!  (She has been asking for a princess bike for almost a year I think!)

 RiRi and Matt came over to hang out and help put the kids to bed

 Lots of laughter and fun!

Wes and I got out on Sunday for a special double date with our friends Ben and Allison which was a great ending to a special few days(matching outfits a sheer friendship coincidence-love it! ;)).
