Father's Day weekend was in fact very happy! We spent the weekend at the beach and had a blast enjoying the summertime weather and of coarse celebrating our fabulous dads!
We started out Father's Day morning showering Wes with his favorite things...coffee, granola, donut holes, homemade cards and a few gifts too! Natalie woke up early and helped decorate for her daddy. She and Stratton had been looking forward to shouting, "Happy Father's Day Daddy!" (and eating donuts for breakfast) all week :)
It was a joy to have a special day to honor Wes. A short blog post doesn't do him justice. He is an awesome dad who is totally hands on, loving and invested in our kids' lives. They certainly know that their daddy loves them very much which makes my heart smile!
After breakfast, we headed over to GiGi and PaPas for a big family brunch. Natalie and Stratton were thrilled to give their PaPa a huge Father's Day hug.
Uncle Matt and Aunt RiRi came to town to celebrate too!
Uncle Matt can always get a giant grin out of Natalie, guaranteed...watch out, Natalie...Uncle Matt is going to get you! ;)
