Princess costumes
(Natalie likes to wear her full princess garb even at bedtime.
The other day she wore her dress and crown, layed down carefully on her back and had me slip on her high heels. I told her that princesses don't need to wear high heels in bed. She told me that Sleeping "Youty" wore her shoes when she fell asleep for a long time...Good point...And if you can't tell from the story, Sleeping Beauty continues to be her #1 princess pick).
Videos
More specifically Veggie Tales and Finding Nemo. We have been without any TV, land line or Internet for a little over 2 weeks. It is refreshing and a really good break for us all! However, I am glad to report that as of tomorrow at 10am basic cable and a phone line will be in working order ;)
Some sort of costume and someone missing clothing...that is the most classic video watching scene ever with our kids
Getting into trouble
Our cute little kiddos certainly find plenty of mischief in their spare time.
Can mom take a quick 5 minute shower after everyone is fed and settled in the morning?
Obviously not. Not sure but MAC NC 25 concealer might just be Stratton's shade...Can you see my eyebrow pencil drawn all over his chest?
And finding a little more trouble
A shower might be out of the question, but how about changing into your bathing suit so you can take the kids to the pool?
The answer again is clearly No
Natalie colored herself during that brief change of clothing. Lucky for me, I had done my best to remove all NON washable marker so this came off just fine with some soap and water
These are busy days!
And although some seem more exhausting than others, I wouldn't trade these two little helicopter watching, princess dress wearing, DVD watching, made up and colored kids for anything!

We're living parallel lives! I always pray and move FAST if I have to shower or change and leave the kids to their own devices for even seconds. It usually ends badly! You are not alone. :)
such cuties...i feel like the green hands and concealer just make life more fun. those are the best stories. :) you are such a good mama-wish we could hang out with you at maranatha and watch helicopters and dress like princesses. and i wouldn't let my kids touch markers. cause the stories are WAY less funny when you're at someone else's house. :) love you!
