4 Years Old!

Wow! Natalie, it is hard for us to believe you are 4 years old!  We had such a great time celebrating YOU and your beautiful life this year.

You had been requesting a "princess party" for more than 6 months, so that's just what you got!  You handed out special Cinderella invitations that you colored yourself. Every night before bed for the weeks leading up to your party you counted all the people that you wanted at your party on your fingers...it was so cute! Papa. GiGi, Aunt RiRi, Uncle Matt, Aunt Brooke, MiMi, Daddy, Stratton and Mommy were all thrilled to be at your party. 

Aunt RiRi worked very hard to help make a special cake for your special day.  You and your brother were giddy when you woke up the morning of your party and found your princess cake waiting for you in the refrigerator!   
Your party was just perfect.  We had lunch, played "Pin the Princess on the Castle", admired pictures of you from this past year, opened gifts and ate cake. 

Everyone had a ball- including you!  You were absolutely exhausted from all the fun :)

Natalie, this past year has been so special.  You are a strong, sensitive, loving, independent, snugly, smart, vivacious, adventurous, talkative, athletic, feminine little lady who we adore more and more each day.  This year you learned to swing, sled, swim and ride a bike.  Your communication has exploded.  You love stories about princesses and adventures.  You say funny things like, "Wait a minute mommy....CALM DOWN and listen to me" (haha-the apple doesn't fall far...).  You love to hug and are quick to encourage and cheer others on.  You are joyful and love to make other people happy.  You love to laugh and scream! You are a caring big sister and precious daughter.  It blesses our heart to hear you pray and thank Jesus for the blessings he has given you.  Our prayer is that the Lord will continue to give you the faith to trust and walk with him.  That you would become the person God has created you to be and that we will be able to love, encourage, instruct and care for you the very best we can!
