Day to Day

Its been a while since I've posted but we've been busy!  Nothing too exotic but the day to day stuff is keeping us on our toes and very occupied.  I managed to grab my camera to capture a few moments.

I know you were all probably on the edge of your seats anticipating the hatching of our chrysalis ;) but it did actually happen and it was actually very cool!  Here are the kids discovering the monarch butterfly!

In other news, little brother Stratton is doing his best to annoy big sister Natalie evidenced here by him standing right on top of the book she is trying to read.  Before you start to feel too bad for Natalie, let me tell you that Stratton had to learn his tricks from someone ;)  But when these two are not trying to get on each other's nerves, they are laughing, playing and having a grand time.  So fun to watch their friendship grow.

A new tradition has begun in our house...blueberry pancakes on Saturday morning...We're three weeks strong on this new (LOVED) trend

Soccer continues.  As of right now it is probably safe to say that it is not Natalie's sport of choice...which is fine...but we still show up, wear our jersey and cheer on our team...even if it is from the sideline.  Who knows, maybe Natalie will take on a new love of the sport next season.

Preschool is a big hit!  Natalie loves going to class and gives it her all each day (she comes home exhausted!).  Last week daddy and Natalie had a special donut breakfast at school.  They were both thrilled!  How cute!

Stratton was feeling a little left out so he had his OWN special doughnut day with MiMi on the same morning (Equally cute!)

More firsts!  Natalie went on her first preschool field trip to the apple orchard and got to ride on a school bus for the first time too.  She was very proud to be such a big gir (Mommy was proud too)!

Learning about the apples and pumpkins...cross pollination and all...Wow.

Then the fun part....picking apples and a pumpkin patch too!

Top it off with fresh apple cider and more donuts!  Can you see the joy on this little girl's face?!

We had an awesome day with the whole class!

and I must say that after spending a couple hours with the whole preschool gang,  I can declare that preschool teachers are in fact super human...love you PS teachers!

 The trees have been absolutely gorgeous here and now the leaves are just starting to fall.  It has been a busy and fun few weeks!
