It was a merry Christmas at our house this year! We had a nice time spending time together as a family and remembering the amazing GIFT that Jesus is!
We had a fun week leading up to the big day. One special thing we did was visit all the great grandmas and grandpas at the nursing home.
The kids did a great job of spreading God's love with their Christmas cards, candies, smiles and songs!
Grandma DeHaan felt so special to have her great grandchildren and their friends over!
The "concert" was very official ;)
The kids did wonderfully truly spread some cheer
Then it was time to bake some treats for Jesus' Birthday
The kids had fun decorating all by themselves and we all think the end product was beautiful!
Brynn was home for Christmas too! Hooray! And look at the adorable gifts she brought for Natalie and Stratton (their names are embroidered on the back)...Perfect!
And then....
CHRISTMAS DAY!
Natalie's 6am sprint into our room to let us know Santa had eaten all of his cookies and brought presents was just on time ;)
We had so much fun!

And one of the kids favorite gifts was sent with love from Orlando, Florida...Thanks Riss and Matt :)
Natalie and Stratton love to play dress up. Until now, Stratton has had to use Natalie's princess costumes. My mother in law suggested I find some more "masculine" choices....I took the hint.
Super Stratton has arrived and I'm not sure he's ever going back to his princess garb :)

After our leisurely morning at home, we headed to GiGi and PaPa's for brunch and more gifts
It was delicious, fun and exhausting ;)
And in case we hadn't had enough fun, we went over to MiMi's for dinner and more gifts!
It too was delicious, fun and exhausting...
And what do you know....after an entire day of brand new toys the kids ended their day playing with
...a cardboard box. Love.
