She's 5!

Natalie is officially 5 years old!

It's hard to believe that is has been 5 years since we met our beautiful, determined, sweet, active, happy girl.  We remember the day and days leading up to her birth like it was yesterday...Every birth is special but I think there is something about that first baby that really sticks with you.  I still tell Wes that Natalie's labor and delivery is one of my very favorite memories.  He agrees.

To celebrate we enjoyed donuts and a few gifts before church.

 Donuts were a treat and our morning was lots of fun.

 Natalie felt special.  She got a pink doctor's kit which she has wanted for awhile from MiMi.

Quickly, the kids had set up a "doctor's office" and she was in business. :)

 This week was also fun because we got to check out Natalie's Young 5's Classroom.  She was so excited to explore her new room and meet her teacher.  I think it's going to be a great year :)

Natalie, you are a precious gift.  Life wouldn't be the same without you.  You love people, laughing, learning and big hugs.  You are up for anything and love to have a good time.  \You have grown so much in every way over the past year.  You completed preschool, have learned to swim on your own (very well!), made lots of new friends, learned how to play new games and tell funny jokes, excelled at art (you LOVE to color and paint), visited Disney World, memorized Bible verses, learned to ski and ride a bike without training wheels, played at the beach, been a great big sister to Stratton, have lovingly welcomed Oliver into our family and SO MUCH MORE!!!  We love watching you learn and grow but are most thankful for your growing knowledge of Jesus.  You are special to us and are special to and loved beyond compare by your Creator who considers YOU his masterpiece!!!
