Oliver is 8 months old!
It has been a good and busy month...Oliver, this is what you have been doing...
-Drooling!!! You now have 3 teeth with the 4th on its way. The latest to join the bunch was your incisor which has been a doozy...
-You have had a stuffy nose for the past few weeks and it turned into a double ear infection this week :( You are such a sweet boy and tried so hard to be happy and smile but you weren't feeling well. This was your first ear infection. We are glad you have you on the mend.
-Rocking...You are so antsy to crawl and are constantly experimenting with ways to move around. You can get across a room by scooting backwards, flip to your tummy from sitting up to lunge toward a toy, and have started to rock on all fours...as soon as you figure out that you can move your legs forward you are going to be off and away! Right now you grunt a lot because you are frustrated that you can't get to the things you want.
-You still love food...we have added cooked veggies to your menu and your new favorite food is toast (especially cinnamon raisin)
-I've started giving you baths in the sink all the time...I'm in the kitchen anyway, its the perfect size and the big kids think its so cool. You love it but are getting curious and try to climb into the other side of the sink!
-In the past few days we have finally gotten a taste of spring which means...PLAYGROUND! You took your first swing ride and loved it. Of coarse Natalie wanted to push you :)
-You weigh 19 lbs
-You are wearing 12 or 12-18 month clothes
-You go to bed around 8pm, wake up to eat at 11pm and then sometimes once in the night. On the days you are feeling well you usually just fuss and put yourself back to sleep. You wake up around 6 when the other kids get up.
-You usually take a nap in the morning around 9 and then in the afternoon around 2. You take a cat nap around 5:30pm.
-You took your first ride in mommy's favorite gadget...the jogging stroller! You really liked it and were lulled right to sleep along with your big brother
-You are squealing more and experimenting with different ways to move your lips but no obvious mama or dada sounds yet
-You give great hugs and kisses. After we are apart you reach for my neck, nuzzle close and give me a big open mouth, drooly kiss
-You wave your hands up and down and squeal when daddy comes home from work
-You have a contagious smile!
-We LOVE LOVE LOVE you!

Aww, Mere! Oliver is just precious and he and Chloe seem so similar! I just love it! Same nap times, same sweet personalities, and same track on the crawling! :) He is just adorable!!
