Happy Easter!
On Easter morning the kids woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had left baskets at the front door.
They were delighted :)
Then it was time to get dressed, have breakfast and go celebrate the REAL reason for Easter...Jesus is alive!
We tried to take a few pics before scooting out the door....
We studied Colossians 3 in church. I like how it reads in the Message...
...So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it."
After church it was off to MiMi's for more family time, lunch and an Easter egg hunt. Uncle Brent and Aunt Brooke (with baby cousin in the oven) came too!
We even celebrated daddy's birthday a little early with his favorite chocolate cake.
Praising God for the PROMISE of Easter. He is able and has done great things!
